About The Meredith Greene Foundation:

How It Began:

It started with a heartfelt idea inspired by unwavering passion. In 1996, Monica, Jerry, and Peri Greene founded The Meredith Greene Foundation in memory of their beloved daughter, Meredith Greene. Meredith’s life, though tragically brief—just nine days due to a chromosomal disorder called Trisomy 18—left an enduring mark on their hearts. In the midst of their grief, the Greenes found comfort in their belief that God teaches that every life carries a divine purpose. From this profound belief, the foundation was created to honor Meredith’s legacy. With the support of Landmark Church in Montgomery, Alabama, the Greene family officially brought The Meredith Greene Foundation to life.

Our Mission:

The Meredith Greene Foundation is a compassionate non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families—especially children—in times of need. We provide assistance in many forms, including financial, educational, physical, spiritual, and emotional support, ensuring no family has to face challenges alone. Our mission is to equip children and their families with the essential resources they need to thrive and live their best lives. One of the highlights of our work is our Christmas program, which brings joy and hope during the holiday season. Every gift is thoughtfully wrapped by our team of volunteers and discreetly delivered or picked up at Landmark Church, ensuring family privacy while creating a magical Christmas experience. Beyond Christmas, our foundation offers a range of support services, including food and grocery assistance, educational resources, disaster relief, counseling, help with essential utilities, and much more. Together, we strive to create a brighter and more secure future for children in need.
